Founded in 2025, the Pearland Brass Ensemble unites skilled local instrumentalists—trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, and tuba players—to showcase the full expressive range of brass instrumentation while fostering a deeper appreciation for chamber and large-ensemble music in our community.
How We Began
The group was initially formed to participate in the Salvation Army’s “Ring the Bell” program, performing Christmas music at local businesses such as Kroger and Bass Pro Shop to raise funds for the Salvation Army.
First Concert
Our debut concert took place in December, a public Christmas program performed jointly with the Pearland Men’s Choir—marking the official beginning of our journey.
Summer Season
After a brief hiatus, the ensemble re-formed for the Summer Concert Season, adding new members and rehearsing weekly. Performances included “Big & Small Screen” film & TV music, a Hymn Sing accompaniment, and a “Christmas in July” benefit for the Brazoria County Salvation Army.
